“Vivaaa Las Vegas. Vivaaaaaaa Las Vegas!” That’s the siren call drawing you in to any lounge, especially when it’s belted out by an Elvis so large and in charge you can’t miss him. The Piano Bar at Harrah’s Las Vegas keeps the candle of classic Vegas burning brightly with its free lounge entertainment.
What was once a Vegas entertainment staple is now a little harder to come by, but at The Piano Bar the high energy fun for free continues, featuring everything from dueling pianos to the aforementioned Big Elvis − Pete Vallee. The bar has had so much success it needed more room. So this spring, a new outdoor patio opened featuring the same great eclectic free entertainment options and reasonably priced drinks.
Don’t worry, you won’t miss a beat of the entertainment from the patio. Windows open all the way up so the patio is an extension of the bar. With great spring weather, right now is the perfect time to enjoy some cocktails on the patio. When it gets a little warmer, umbrellas will provide shade while you sing and dance to one of the many live acts.
If you haven’t experienced Big Elvis, you’re in for a supersized surprise. Pete Vallee sits on his golden throne because he really is The King. He breathes new life into classic hits from the quintessential Vegas showman. With a voice as large as he is, Big Elvis will get you singing and clapping along faster than you can say, “Hound Dog.” Catch his act Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 2 – 6 p.m.
Have you ever dreamed of singing at your own show on the Las Vegas Strip? Britney Spears and Celine Dion probably aren’t in the market for opening acts but your dream can still come true at The Piano Bar with Rusty’s All Star Karaoke. Belt out your favorite song and you’ll be able to tell all your friends you performed on the Strip. If stage fright hits, remember those cocktails we mentioned. A little liquid courage might be in order. Karaoke runs Wednesday through Sunday from 6 – 9 p.m.
Yes, it’s called The Piano Bar but that doesn’t mean brass instruments aren’t welcome. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 3 – 6 p.m., catch Saxman Duo performing classic soul with an upbeat and funky vibe. This ain’t Kenny G so come ready to dance.
What’s better than a pair of dueling pianos? A pair of beautiful twin piano players battling it out for your applause! Talk about sibling rivalry. Identical twins Kim and Tamara Pinegar show off their piano prowess nightly at 9 p.m. Fun fact: they’re also some of the nicest performers in town so don’t be afraid to go chat with them after their set. They won’t even give you a hard time if you forget who is who.
The revamp and new patio addition at The Piano Bar is part of property-wide upgrades at Harrah’s Las Vegas. The hotel’s Valley Tower got a modern makeover and now features sleek furnishings and a crisp white and cream palate highlighted with pops of blue and purple.
Just in time for baseball season, the Harrah’s Race & Sports Book now features more than 40 new HD TVs. There are also comfy new bar stools and lounge chairs plus built-in USB chargers so you’ll still have enough phone juice to text your friends to meet you at The Piano Bar later.
Other improvements include a remodeled Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill an expansion of the popular Oyster Bar and the addition of the “Tenors of Rock.” So turn your fun dial up to 11 and check out all the action in The Piano Bar and throughout Harrah’s.
